Miniature houses destroyed in a cyclone.
Back in the early 80’s, I was given a great opportunity to be one of the model makers on the production ‘Cyclone Tracy’.
We built two 1/4 scale houses. These were made like the real things and very fragile all balsa frames and thin foil sidings.
Over several days, they were blown apart bit by bit with large wind machines, air canons and lots of detonators.
All that was left at the end of it was pretty much just the frame they were built on. All great fun. I’m glad I was asked to be part of that crew.
